Korean Skincare Regimen – Foam cleansers

Good afternoon my beauties! I hope your having a great Tuesday morning. Hope everyones Labor day weekend was awesome. I’m just getting home from art class, whoo. No more class for today! Decided to post the second step in the Korean Skin Regimen. Enjoy!

RECAP: Foam Cleansers remove impurities i.e. dirt & sweat from skin. You should always apply this cleanser on wet skin.

Foam cleansers are the second step in what is called the “Double Cleansing”. Which basically means your begin to cleanse with an oil cleanser then end with an water based cleanser. These two steps help clear breakouts & create a blank canvas for your makeup.

Before we jump to product time. I’ve listened to some of you. I’ve been asked to include products that work best with different skin types or concerns. So from now on I’ll be separating products based on skin types & adding what the products should be used to minimize or rid at certain skin concern. So lets get into the products.

Oily/Acne Prone Skin

Laneige Pore Deep Cleansing Foam & Mamode Mirco Lotus Mild Foam: I know long name. This product is a deep cleanser for your pores, as its name suggest. Minimizes shine, and regulates sebum production. Sebum is what is preventing water loss on skins surface, but if there is excess it can cause your skin to appear oily and clog your pores.

Hera Purifying Cleansing Foam: Minimizes blemishes, anti-acne, & regulates sebum production.

 Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Foam: A deep cleanser for pores, regulates sebum production, and anti-acne.

Neogen Green Tea Real Fresh Foam Cleanser: This is an 2-in-1. It’s best used for oily/acne prone or combination skin types. Soothes irritated skin, hydrates & brightens skin, while regulating sebum production

Mizon Egg White Bubble Cleanser: Deep cleans pores, controls blackheads, and oil production.



Jesu Volcanic Cleansing Foam: Minimizes excess sebum, anti-blackheads, and is a pore deep cleanser.

Green Tea Pure Cleansing Foam:  Moistures & soothes irritated skin.


Tea Tree Balancing Foam Cleanser: Soothes irritated skin, anti-acne & hydrates skin.

Sea Daffodil Cleansing Mousse: Soothes irritated skin, brightens & hydrates skin.

Etude House Wonder Pore Whipping Foaming & Deep Foaming Cleanser: Anti-blackheads, regulates sebum production, a pore deep cleanser, moistures & soothes irritated skin.

Dry/Normal or Sensitive

Acwell Bubble – Free pH Balancing Cleanser: Moisturizes & soothes irritated skin.

Laneige White Plus Renew Foam Cleanser: Brightens dull skin & regulates excess sebum.

CosRX Low – pH good Morning Cleanser:  Soothes & brightens skin.

Mizon Snail Repairing Foam Cleanser:  Minimizes wrinkles, hydrates skin, minimizes acne scars.

Creamorlab T.E.N. Cremor Gentle Foaming Cleanser: Moisturizes & soothes skin.  

Now for people who don’t want to use an foam or an oil cleanser. I haven’t left you out. Here are some cream cleanser that might be just for you.

Cream Cleansers

Re:cipe Slowganic Cleanser Lemon:  Moistures, soothes irritated, & brightens dull skin. Regulates excess sebum production. (Great for Oily/Acne Skin)

Re:cipe Slowganic Green Tea: Soothes irritated skin, minimizes blemishes, regulates sebum production, and moistures your skin. (Great for Combination skin)

Aromatica Organe Cleansing Sherbet: Hydrates & soothes irritated skin. (Great for Dry/Normal or Sensitive skin)

Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity: Minimizes excess sebum & hydrates skin. (Great for Sensitive or Dry skin)
